Twitter is a great way to crowd source information from your friends and followers, whether its tips on traveling with your kids, or asking which restaurant is the most cost efficient to feed the whole family. One way to get a wealth of information or education on a topic is through Twitter chats!
eBay Classifieds and myself recently facilitated a great conversation on Twitter around how to be environmentally friendly this summer. In 140 characters or less I learned about drapes that keep the cool air in and heat out, and important items for my summer trip that I need to remember like life jackets. Best of all, I met some new Twitter followers and helped them learn about eBay Classifieds.
We discussed best practices on environmentally friendly gardening, traveling and cooking. It was very conversational; I saw a lot of links being shared, funny comments and questions. With this chat we really wanted to focus on summertime and going green – and we all learned so much from each other!
I really want to thank all of who participated in the Twitter Chat: Go Green for the Summer! Listening to all of your environmentally friendly tips was a great learning experience for everyone involved.
Stay tuned for updates on future chats and be sure to follow @eBayClassifieds on Twitter for additional tips and tricks throughout the season!
