One of my favorite responsibilities here at eBay Classifieds is mobile app development. It’s with great pleasure that we’re announcing the release of the eBay Classifieds iPhone app version 1.0.2 – now available in the App Store.
While the main focus of this release was to fix iOS4 compatibility issues as well as avoid the forthcoming Twitter OAuthcalypse (originally scheduled for June 30, 2010), we decided to add a few more features for you including:
- View ad location on map & higher-resolution images on View Ad
- Respond by phone call in-app (when ad has a phone number)
- Search by multiple attribute values in Pets (i.e. Owner & Shelter)
- Enhanced Boolean attribute search support (i.e. Pets allowed for Rentals)
- Better memory management
- Improved look and feel
- Recommend this app feature (tell your friends!)
- iPad search and other minor bug fixes
